‘this is now, and now, and now’ debuted at JACK in Brooklyn, NY and ran March 4 - 7, 2020

‘this is now, and now, and now’ is a dance/theater performance by Amanda Szeglowski and her dance troupe ‘cakeface.’ ‘tnnn’ is an incisive and humorous show that focuses attention on the less glamorous realities surrounding aging and how we choose to remember our past.

‘tnnn’ was nominated for an ‘Outstanding Production’ award in 2020 by The Bessies - The New York Dance & Performance Awards

‘Ritual’ was released on September 5th, 2019.

’Ritual’ aims to explore the transcendent qualities of worship through ritualistic movement and moments of self-awareness and spiritual awakening. 'Ritual' follows the singular path of a performer as they advance through various ceremonial stages of behavior, beginning with altar preparation and guided movement followed by an abrupt dive into the performer's mind.

‘Stairway to Stardom’ premiered on September 12th, 2017 at HERE Arts Center in New York City and ran until September 23rd.

‘Stairway to Stardom’ revolves around a cast of five female performers as they explore their personal struggles with stardom and everyday life. The show combines choreographed motion with rigid, monotone dialogue that is further accentuated by jagged video design and an experimental sound score.

Lost Transmissions From Dusty Roads’ is a 15-channel sound composition written for the event ‘Ghost Line X.’ The composition debuted at Rosewood Park in Austin, Texas on November 19th, 2022 and was later shown April 15th, 2023 at Moody Amphitheater as part of Fusebox Festival. ‘Lost Transmissions’ encompasses electromagnetic anti-radio field recordings, chopped digital string arrangements, and a variety of heavily edited sample content. The composition merges staccato melodic phrasings with Musique concrète forms to create spatial movement and depth within the linear speaker array.

Ghost Line X’ is a spatial audio public event series created by the experimental sound collective ‘Rolling Ryot’ in partnership with the city of Austin through the Cultural Arts Division. The event consists of a 15-channel linear speaker array spanning over 350 ft. in conjunction with sound reactive lighting.

‘Sound in Space: A Metaverse Retrospective’ was a virtual online gallery exhibit that occurred April 18 - 20th, 2022 on the social metaverse platform NOWHERE. The gallery exhibit was a retrospective that featured selected audio-visual works, albums and music videos created by Brian Wenner and collaborators from the years 2017 - 2022.

The artist was virtually present in the gallery during the hours of 4pm - 8pm (EST) on each of the three days and interacted with gallery attendees. Playback of audio-video content was controlled and streamed live via OBS onto the platform. The gallery exhibit was part of the ‘NOWHERE Sound Series,’ which was a month long showcase of musicians and sound artists.

‘Separator’ is a quadraphonic sound and single-source projection installation piece. Utilizing chopped and manipulated audio, computer graphics, and video, ‘Separator’ is a 42-minute piece broken down into fifteen continuous movements of audio-visual interplay. The artists' intention is to realize a fragmented environment that moves between moments of extreme dissonance and harmony.

‘Separator’ was most recently on display at the Slow Burn NYC group exhibition ‘Anywhere But Here.’ from March 22nd - May 10th, 2021. ‘Separator’ was originally premiered on March 16, 2019 at SXSW as part of Performance is Alive. It has been shown at the Satellite Art Fair in Brooklyn, NY and at Art Basel Miami as part of the Contemporary & Digital Art Fair.

‘Dirty Secret II’ is an expansive 2-hr durational performance and installation piece that took place on September 26, 2019 at The Invisible Dog Art Center in Brooklyn, New York. The installation is accompanied by a multichannel surround audio score and 3-channel video projection.

‘Dirty Secret II’ is a continuation and expansion on the performance piece ‘The Awakening’ that happened in May of 2019 and aims to focus on the theme of gender fluidity in conjunction with personal and mental struggle and instability.

‘The Awakening’ is a 2-hour durational performance and installation piece that took place on May 31st, 2019 at The Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center in New York City. The installation was a collaboration with visual artist and performer Brian Andrew Whiteley.

‘The Awakening’ featured a 2-hour original musical score and dual channel video projection. The piece was later expanded as ‘Dirty Secret II’ that happened later in the year.

‘Evolve’ is an immersive multimedia installation that was featured at Westwood Gallery in New York City from May 5 - 7, 2017.

‘Evolve’ was a collaboration between Sony and the spatial interior artist Kaz Shirane, as well as additional production by Magnetic. Brian Wenner was commissioned to compose a multi-channel musical score for the piece. The objective of the installation was to promote the launch of the BRAVIO OLED television through the creation of a fully immersive audio/visual experience.

Live at Elsewhere 12.13.2019 (2019)

‘Live at Elsewhere 12.13.2019’ is a video and audio release that documents the collaborative performance that happened on December 13, 2019 at the Brooklyn, NY venue Elsewhere. The performance featured audio playback and manipulation using Ableton Live and the APC40 MIDI controller. The visuals were reproduced utilizing a custom patch created in openFrameworks.

‘Live at Elsewhere 12.13.2019’ is also available as an album download on Bandcamp.
